I began my college career in Electrical Computer Engineering. After two years I discovered that I liked computing but didn't necessarily enjoy engineering. I wanted to work with computers, not design them. But moving forward I decided on pursuing teaching as a career. I achieved my Associate's degree in education but I still was unsure as to what I wanted to teach. I started with mathematics but after some time I realized how much I loved working with computers and decided to change my focus to them. So I enrolled in the information technology program with Kaplan University.

After taking a few introductory courses in web development, I was hooked. I chose to make this my area of study and quickly began growing my skills as a web developer. I have since designed several websites and am growing in my skill set all the time. I primarily use Adobe Creative Studio 4 for my designing needs. I am moderately proficient in Photoshop, Flash, and Dreamweaver.
